We've lead trips to Guatemala since 2009. Guatemala is a tapestry of rich heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant traditions. This beauty, however, often masks the harsh reality of economic struggle. Over 55% of Guatemala’s population lives in extreme poverty. The country’s poverty and inequality rates are among the highest in Central America, with a large and underserved population, mostly rural and indigenous areas.
