Athentikos is in the final stages of its first production - Reparando - a story based in Guatemala. Reparando will release in early Summer 2010.

REPARANDO

On the morning of June 18, 1954, the CIA dropped leaflets in Guatemala city demanding the resignation of the president. This action de-stablized the region and became a catalyst for war which devestaed Guatemala for 36 years. Fathers were killed. Families were destroyed. People fleeing violence created some of the largest slum communities in Latin America.

But hope is rising.  There are some victims who cling to the pain of their past in order to heal the next generation.  A former gang member named Shorty joins forces with a woman with an abused past named Tita to repair Guatemala's most notorius slum - La Limonada.
